Crawler policy

BigBookPrices is a non-commercial hobby project that uses bounded retrieval only where appropriate.

Operating principles

  • Purpose is price and stock comparison.
  • We respect robots.txt and published access policies.
  • Requests use conservative rates and bounded scopes.
  • We do not bypass access controls, solve CAPTCHAs or use stealth automation.
  • Feeds and documented APIs are preferred whenever available.

Requests

Retailers can contact hello@bigbookprices.eu to request corrections, changes or removal from a source integration. Include the relevant domain and URLs. Non-commercial status does not make retailer databases, text, images or cover art unrestricted.

Future protocol support

Web Bot Auth is not implemented at this time, and no Cloudflare Verified status is claimed.
